This internship offers the opportunity to gain exposure to an HR environment for a Global organisation, access to mentors from the UK as well as exposure to other emerging markets in the portfolio which include India, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Israel and Turkey.

Requirements

Key performance areas
HR operations:

  • Assisting the HR manager with all HR related operations
  • Onboarding and offboarding of staff members
  • Maintaining staff records and files
  • Managing the diversity initiatives
  • Employee query handling
  • Systems training
  • Maintaining relationships with other HR associates
  • Streamlining processes
  • Loading of SA HR related documents on the various portals
  • Training maintenance and support

Required skills and attributes

  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail, and high levels of accuracy
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to deal with staff at all levels
  • Excellent listening skills; empathetic
  • Uncompromising on matters of confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter and diligent

Advantageous

Required experience and qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in human resource management
  • Matric Maths an advantage
