Independent Media has exciting opportunities for digital lovers to sink their teeth into our latest brands and products. We’re offering 12-month internships –
1 October 2024 to 30 November 2024 – for qualifying candidates who commit to the full duration at our Cape Town offices. The successful digital natives will receive a stipend.
To qualify, you need to have had exposure to or an interest in the following:

Digital media
Analytics
Content
User experience/human behaviour
Social media

Applicants must also meet the following criteria:

Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in digital media technologies, interactive media, web media, web communications, digital art or graphic design
Be interested in print, online, mobile and digital media
Be able to work under pressure in a demanding environment
Be innovative and creative
Be tech savvy

To be able to work independently or as part of a team
To be able to work well under pressure
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
An aptitude for problem-solving
To be familiar with computer programming languages, design, and digital tools
To keep up to date with new web technologies and trends
