Recent teaching bursary scholarship is designed by ISASA in collaboration with Dept of Basic Education and Investec, for qualified applicants graduated from Senior or FET (Further Education and Training) to access the opportunity of bursary scholarship. In addition, only prospective teachers who have qualifications in sciences and maths who can claim the bursary.  In the case that you are not, you are discouraged to apply. Now, successful applicants for the bursary, they will attain the chance to get another degree either PGCE ( a one year) or B.Ed ( a four year) at University of South Africa. Suitable applicants who expect to join teaching bursary scholarship opportunity should be; (1) graduates who are majoring in science or mathematics, (2) applicants who hold matric qualification with B pass, and obtain average 60% and above for English, maths, and sciences in physical science or life science, (3) applicants who are tertiary students who hold credits maths and sciences in physical science or life science.
