Job description
Do you marvel at the perfect Crème Brûlée? Do you gasp at the thought of a deliciously crispy croquette? Are you the guy or gal always on the lookout for the latest hotspot where you can sip on a glass of Champagne or enjoy a craft beer? You’ll need to be able to combine your awesome writing skills with your love for all things food, wine and lifestyle, to produce awesome online content.
Responsibilities
- Writing and editing original web content
- Collating existing content into interesting web posts
- Uploading content to WordPress (SEO, meta tags, alt text, etc.)
- Resizing of images (basic Photoshop)
- Contribution at content planning meetings for the mailers/web content
- Assisting with weekly mailers
- Assisting with the generation and scheduling of content for social media channels
- Assisting on shoots where necessary
This is a varied and busy role and will require an outgoing person who can use their own initiative, manage their workload effectively and is willing to work to the deadline without cracking under the pressure. This role would best suit a talented graduate looking to gain experience in online publishing. Requirements
- Relevant digital and/or copywriting qualification. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WRITE!
- Experience working in WordPress or similar CMS
- Basic Photoshop – resize, colour balance and export images
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Thorough knowledge of grammar, syntax, spelling and punctuation
- An interest in the digital space
Advantageous
- Passion for digital communication
- Interest and knowledge of food, wine and lifestyle topics
Personal Skills/Attributes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage time; to work as efficiently and effectively as possible to deliver great work within deadlines, while balancing speed and quality

- Confident, but able to take criticism or feedback
