Remuneration: Negotiable depending on experience

A phenomenal opportunity has become available within an established BI team for a highly motivated, energetic and results driven individual. Based within a financial services division of a retailer, our BI Team manages data and information to support operational and strategic decision-making in our business
Your key performance areas will be:

  • Gather and document user BI requirements
  • Build dashboard/reports for broad user community using Tableau or Excel
  • Automate manual reports to improve efficiency
  • Perform data analysis, extracts and reporting from the Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Proactively find insights on the data and present findings to business

Skills and Experience:

Requirements:

  • Prior data warehouse experience (at least five years)
  • Excellent Microsoft SQL skills
  • Knowledge of dimensional databases
  • Experience in creating optimised scripts/queries
  • Knowledge of database design and architecture
  • Business analysis amp; project management experience advantageous
  • Core competencies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking with the ability to focus and attend to multiple things
  • To be able to perform at a high level of accuracy.
  • Be able to drive new concepts/ideas in Financial Services
  • To be able to anticipate and evaluate the impact of possible problem solutions prior to implementation.
  • To be self-motivated, well organised and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Can work either independently (with limited supervision) or as part of a team.
