A reputable private wealth management firm requires the services of an experienced business analyst with at least five years of experience and a good understanding of asset management and related financial services industry environment.
Skills and experience:
Minimum requirements:
- Degree or diploma in informatics or information technology
- At least five years of experience as business analyst
- At least three years of experience in the financial services industry environment
- Adept at using UML for user business process modelling, class diagrams and activity diagrams
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and best practices
Key skills and duties:
- JAD workshops
- Compile business requirement documentation
- Use graphical UML design and business analysis tools for compiling adequate business requirements (business process modeling, class diagrams, activity diagrams and use case diagrams, etc.)
- Prepare and document test strategy and test cases
- Preparation of training material and training of staff
- Preparation of final user documentation
- Using database interrogation tools to provide support to operational functions
