Job description
A large corporate is looking to employ a data architect who will be responsible for:
- Managing and conducting full lifecycle activities
- Monitor performance and quality control of data
- Designing and implementing data warehouse
- Build and evaluate predictive models
Requirements
- Matric/grade 12
- Tertiary qualification – B.Sc degree in statistics/actuarial science/mathematical optimisation/operations research/artificial intelligence, etc.
- Master’s degree will be advantageous
- Must have at least five years of experience in data analytics/data mining
- Must have at least two years of experience designing and building data warehouses
- Experience with Cognos, SQL, DB2, analytical tools, Java, RPG programming
- Data modelling is essential
