Job description
Ensuring compliance with the finance department and group objectives and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Review and authorise all payments
- Review costings prepared
- Assist with calculation regarding spare capacity
- Review profitability per brand and customer and report to management
- Strategize with Sales team in order to boost profitability per customer
- Responsible for annual budget process in consultation with department heads and senior management
- Prepare updated forecasts based on year-to-date tracking against annual budget
- Assist stakeholders with Vital Group reporting and consolidation procedures
- Monthly reporting regarding stock levels
- Monthly manufacturing cost analysis
- Coordinate stock counts and investigation of variances
- Calculate quarterly overhead and labour recovery rates
- Effective staff management
Requirements
- CA (SA) or CIMA qualified
- At least two to five years’ relevant experience
- Excellent analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
