Our client, a new digital agency based in Cape Town, requires a mid to senior designer to join their team.
Requirements:
Designing:
- Responsive websites.
- Mail-shots/newsletter.
- Google display network ads.
- Social media elements.
- GDN ads.
- Magazine ads.
Other requirements:
- Minimum of two years’ experience.
- Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap beneficial.
- Understanding of briefs and accurate interpretation thereof.
- Creation of design and assets for use on our website, brand file and social media platforms.
- Work closely with copywriters on social content and strategies.
- Wire-framing beneficial.
- Good understanding of UX/UI.
- Beneficial to know full Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential), Sketch, Proofme.
- Good communication skills.
- Work within timeframes to meet deadlines.
- Conceptualise, design and maintain all required material for online use.
- Knowledge and interest of web standards, best practices and technologies to maintain all the brands’ websites in terms of content, design, development and functionality.
- Natural interest in social media and digital trends and assist with creation and presentation of the brands and companies on social media platforms.
- Passion for best practices, new technologies and continuous improvement on the digital platform.
- Ability to take a project from brief to completion.
