Job functions
- Information technology industries funeral service, information technology, insurance specification reviewing project plans to determine time-frame, budget limitations and procedures for accomplishing scheduled work.
- Staffing and administrative requirements and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project.
- Establishing a work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, and arranges the assignment of duties, responsibilities and scope of authority for project personnel.
- Directing and coordinating activities of project personnel to ensure project progress is on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
- Participating in preparing financial and administrative-related plans for the project
- Obtaining the endorsement from concerned parties and monitoring the implementation of plans.
- Preparing and coordinating staffing and all project-related administrative requirements to ensure proper logistical support for the execution of the project.
- Analysing business requirements to propose and recommend procedures that suit the business environment and achieve the project objectives.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify improve or redesign procedures and submitting reports with recommendations in this regard.
- Configuring, managing and supervising the implementation of the assigned project to ensure optimal utilisation of resources and meeting the schedules.
- Reviewing and study the status reports prepared by project engineers and modifying schedules or plans as required.
- Coordinating the preparation and delivery of project deliverables to the Operations Manager for approval including, design documents, cost estimates, schedules and works plans.
- Managing and updating of the Master project plan.
- Management of the functions of the project management
Skills and experience:
Requirements
Qualifications required for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology
- Project Management certification (Prince2/PMBOK)
Experience required for the position:
- Project management knowledge and experience.
- Professional knowledge of large development as well as technical projects
