Job description
Research Executive is responsible for the design and monitoring of research projects and the logical interpretation of research results. Take responsibility for your own time and work, and have the knowledge and experience to complete a number of research tasks with supervision from the senior research executive. Your role in research design making is incremental and provide useful input into study, material and presentation design.
Operations:
- Research project design and management
- Project brief and timing
- Screener, questionnaire / discussion guide design and testing
- Data collection brief
- Design tables, analysis plan and coding (Tabspec, analysis plan, Data Request, Report Design)
- Calculate weights
- Data processing and analysis
- Report eriting and presentations
- Moderating (for the qualitative team)
- Quality
Client Service:
- Brainstorms proposals with regards to research design, costs and timing
- Deliver on the operational components of the job

Requirements
- Completed tertiary education – degree in marketing, eg. BCom/B Bus Sc (preferably hons)/PGD marketing
- Minimum of one year of work experience in the research industry
- Analytical ability with proven numeracy skills (skills will be tested)
- Computer literacy – proficiency in all MS Office packages
- Business writing skills
- Presentation skills
- Basic commercial skills (cost and time management)
- Strong attention to detail
- Marketing knowledge and a thorough understanding of marketing research principles
