We have a great opportunity at Unitrans as a Depot Supervisor in Tzaneen to supervise staff and to assist with breakdowns and accidents. Please view full job spec for any further details

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years’ experience in transport environment.
Work under pressure
Supervise Staff
Good computer skills.
Self motivated, innovative and trustworthy.
No clock-watcher and dedicated to lead by example.
Code 14 drivers licence and are able to travel.
Technical experience.

The above qualifications will be an advantage.

Job Specification

The person appointed to the position will supervise and oversee the following:

Motivating and developing staff to satisfy customer needs .
Planning and organising staff shifts rosters, which will include leave and peak season staff requirements.
Coach scheduling
Attending to staff performance appraisals, incentives and disciplinaries.
Holding regular staff meetings.
Implement effective systems and controls relating to revenue protection.
The security of the Depot, coaches and staff.
Maintain, implement, develop and monitor service levels to ensure that a Quality service is provided to customers.
Controlling of all depot expenditure.
Liase with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Accidents and breakdowns investigations
