Job description
Online news and entertainment platform looking for a young, energetic content writer to join our growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for pre-viral topics, and the ability to turn ideas into engaging content ready to be consumed on various platforms.
If you think you’ve got what it takes, here’s what we’d like you to do: find a topic online that you believe has the potential to go viral and write us a 300-400 word piece in a crisp, modern format that’ll get folks engaged. Use in-text links to reference your work and pick the perfect cover image.

Requirements
- Media/communication/journalism qualification

- Ability to adapt to our unique voice and style
- Knowledge of social media platforms, and the uses of social media in generating traffic
Advantageous
- Experience using Google Analytics
- Some travel experience, with a focus on the UK
