Job description

At R.O.I Digital, a continually growing digital agency, we are looking for a junior designer who is eager to learn and can produce high-quality work within the digital space. An understanding of typography, layout, the internet and digital design trends is essential.
Communication is a big part of the job and the chosen candidate will be expected to express confidence in contributing to the entire creative process. Asking questions is important!
Role requirements:

  • Offering input in creative meetings and sharing ideas.
  • Producing attractive and effective designs across all media platforms.
  • Interpreting feedback from senior team members into design solutions.
  • Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects.
  • Keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends is key when assessing recognition, promotion and growth.

Important to note: From time-to-time a junior designer may need to work hours that aren’t typical, so a flexible approach is needed to get the best out of this opportunity.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Must be adept with leading design software packages (Sketch is a plus)
  • A determination to achieve and succeed

  • Being able to work in a team
  • The ability to see projects through from inception to completion
  • Consistency regardless of project size
  • Good organisational skills
  • The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
  • The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve

  • InDesign
  • Illustrator
  • Photoshop
  • Sketch is a plus
