JUNIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR: INTERNAL AUDIT
EAST LONDON CAMPUS – (Ref No. 8405)
SALARY: R 229 400 – R283 750 per annum (All-inclusive package)
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for the above mentioned permanent post in the institution’s Internal Audit Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Client Liaison at a functional level
- Perform system descriptions and assess business risk
- Develop internal audit programs and procedures
- Executing of internal audit assignments
- Performing internal audit tests and procedures
- Identifying weak/problem areas and developing effective corrective action plans
- Preparing reports and discussion thereof at a functional level
- Ad Hoc Projects and research assignments
- Continuous improvement and updating of technical knowledge
- Increased service delivery, quality and client satisfaction
- Perform risk identification and assessments
- Compilation of risk assessment reports
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
- National Diploma Internal Audit/B.Com Internal, Audit/Accounting ;
- Minimum of 0 to 1year experience in internal auditing or accounting environment;
- Possession of a driver’s license;
- Proven internal audit skills.
- Ability to assess and identify business risks.
- Well-developed investigative, evaluative and problem solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop internal audit programs and procedures.
- Excellent report writing ability.
- Good business acumen.
- Strong consulting and advisory skills.
- Good computer skills
- Budget development and monitoring experience;
- Excellent MS Office Word and MS Office Excel packages;
- Ability to work both independently and as a team; and
- Commitment to customer services
