Job description

Heavy industry – steel and welding knowledge
Heavy Industrial Manufacturer/ structural Steel Manufacturer seeks a Jnr Product Engineer to understand and comply with clients specifications, assisting to internal departments, assisted by senior engineer.
Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Evaluating customer’s specifications and drawings;
• Analysing material list of the projects;
• Generating required technical drawings to give to production and giving them to production in a controlled manner;
• Removing old drawings immediately and giving the new one to production, if there is any chancing at product’s technical drawing;
• Updating all information on system continuously related with product;
• To follow up projects and to organise necessary preparation with related departments;
• To be part of solution related with dimensional problems at products and commercial internal materials;
• To prepare Bill of Material list, manage and support related operation and departments related with bill of material list;
• Support the development of CNC machines for cutting and machining centre

Requirements

• Technical degree/diploma;
• Minimum one to three years of experience in industrial design (experience in structural calculation of Wind Turbine Towers will be an important plus). Highly preferable is the experience in a subsidiary plant of a multinational company;
• Heavy industry, steel and welding knowledge;
• Standards and safety procedures;
• CAD;
• Advance Excel skills;
• Fluent in English
