Job description

We are looking for a junior to mid-level digital strategist to join Techsys Digital’s hardworking strategy and new business team. We provide insight-based catalytic thinking to inspire the ideas that drive customer and business value for Techsys’ portfolio of clients and our internal business prerogatives.
Techsys was founded in 2005 and has grown from a strong technologydevelopment company into a full service digital marketing agency offering our own bespoke technology products and customisable systems, strategy, design and development, social media advertising and many other services. Our passion for integrating new insights, trends and technology allows us to provide innovative digital solutions to our portfolio of world-class clients. The strategy position will involve three major processes, namely:

  • Identifying opportunities and generating ideas.
  • Identifying key opportunities to act upon and pain points to eliminate within the customer experience of our clients’ consumers.

This will be informed by:

  • Data and analytics deep dives
  • Tissue sessions and workshopping with client
  • Digital eco-system mapping/channel palette assessments

Engagement and strategy development
Defining strategic principles and crafting the value exchange throughout a holistic (digital and real world) experience, through an exercise of:

  • Persona/archetype development
  • Customer segmentation (prioritised by business value, customer lifetime value or similar)
  • Journey mapping/need state analyses
  • Platform and campaign development, with an explicit focus on big data and machine learning
  • Productisation of software and digital tools to generate long term business value

Implementation and measurement
Bringing the strategy to life through detailed channel, content and data planning, including:

  • CRM as a golden thread
  • KPI framework indicating thorough digital and business understanding (macro landscape and category within which client falls)
  • Launch Strategy including paid media recommendations with the help of our paid media specialist

 

Requirements

  • Candidates need to have an undergraduate degree or a diploma related to relevant to marketing/advertising as well as at least one year’s experience in an agency or brand environment, ideally in strategy
  • Our perfect candidate has a can-do attitude, a love for collaborating with other people, is well-spoken and presentable and keen to effect business change through technology

Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Applications close 15 February 2024.
