About the Position
Major Activities 

  • Developing and maintaining training and learning processes.
  • Continuously sourcing instructional development information that can be used for comparison, best practice and benchmarking exercises.
  • Continuously communicating and encouraging the introduction of curriculum and learning content that is up-to-date, relevant and represents industry leading practice
  • Interacting independently with clients to determine human resource development needs
  • Providing specific training design and development administrative and academic support during instructional design projects
  • Monitoring instructional design and review projects and report progress on a monthly basis.
  • Performing ad hoc research activities that will contribute towards training service delivery improvement of the performance of the ATA.
  • Developing collaborative relationships with subject matter experts to identify and prioritize learning opportunities.
  • Monitor service delivery evaluation efforts and corrective actions as applicable to both internal and externaltraining offered (CRM assisted).
  • Manage the Development and maintenance of e-learning capacity at the ATA
  • Develop and implement student academic support initiatives
  • Lead the design of curriculum, course content and material utilized within the ATA
  • Implement teaching and learning strategies, plans and methodologies
  • Ensure the development of ICAO Standard Training Packages to retain RTCE status
  • Submit draft course design and development plans to clients
  • Prepare an annual business plan for the unit, including a detailed budget ( R7 Million)
    Minimum Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Education or equivalent

Minimum Experience

  • Five years (7) Course Curriculum Development experience with managerial experience
