We are looking for a marketing coordinator to assist and support the marketing team. The main responsibility will be to work closely with the marketing manager, assisting her with all admin related tasks. This is a new role within the marketing team and is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a creative team. There is lots of room for growth within this role, as you will be working with a small dynamic team on all aspects of the marketing function. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating of website
- Sourcing of quotes and ordering of marketing stationary business cards, compliment slips and keeping track of usage
- Communication to stores
- Emailer coordination to our database
- Answer media briefs
- Send monthly press releases to media contacts
- General admin: sourcing media rates, allocation for bags, gathering of info, putting together sales presentations
- Updating of marketing calendar
- Contribute to idea generation, especially on digital platforms
- Assisting at events and trade shows
- Compiling of info for monthly newsletter and sending onto copywriter for checking
- Managing public and trade mailing lists
- Assisting with brief writing and feedback
Requirements
- Marketing degree/diploma or similar
- Minimum one to two years of marketing experience
- Experience in décor/design or a retail environment would be advantageous
- The ideal candidate should be passionate about décor/design and interiors
- We are looking for a committed individual who is idea driven and enthusiastic
- Strong administration skills and great attention to detail
- Good resilience to stress and pressure
- Creative and innovative
