Job description
Duties and/ or tasks:
- Plan and implement marketing strategy, including advertising and PR
- Deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget
- Plan and manage sales and marketing resources according to agreed budgets
- Direct marketing staff where budgets are devolved
- Conduct customer surveys regarding customer satisfaction
- Maintain administration and relevant reporting and planning systems
- Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the marketing department
- Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media
- Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities;
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed
- Supervise all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
- Responsible for the marketing of the company products and services to the right B2B market including but not limited to empowerment, women, green, performance or government
- Demonstrate technical skills and company product knowledge
- Analyse potential strategic partner relationships for product lines
- Attend Topco events as a senior representative of Topco Group
- Attend Networking functions on behalf of Topco Group to create relationships with potential strategic partners for current or potential Topco brands
- Manage KPI’s and performance of all marketing staff and the staff division
- Work cohesively with production department to create new revenue streams from Digital platforms and grow digital division
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business preferred and 10 years’ related experience in marketing, market research, digital media, strategy development and communications
- 5 – 10 years of management level marketing experience in a large, B2B & B2C, business.
- Develop online campaigns that extend across social, web, mobile, online advertising, search (SEO), apps, loyalty, etc. and seamlessly integrate with offline communication touch points
- Ability to synthesize data, be analytical, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong understanding of Search strategy, project planning and agency-client model
