Liquorice Africa Advertising is a growing and dynamic online agency based in Cape Town, CBD, with a very tight knit team. We need someone who will have no problem fitting into this driven and dynamic environment.
Minimum qualifications – education and experience:
- Matric
- Web design qualification
- Three+ years front-end experience
Skills required:
- HTML5 and CSS3
- Advanced JavaScript (essential)
- JQuery
- Using media queries to create responsive websites.
- Understanding of CSS grid systems.
Skills advantageous:
- Sharepoint 2013
- WordPress
- PHP / MySQL
- Javascript Framework
- Experience with version control such as SVN or Git.
Tasks:
- Skinning and implementation of JavaScript applications, forms and tools
- Implementing and maintaining cutting-edge websites in Sharepoint 2013
- Maintaining and creating custom WordPress sites
- Develop quality, front-end code following coding standards and best practices.
- Foresee possible project challenges.
- Write technical specifications for projects.
- Maintain technical knowledge of industry standards, best practices and trends.
- Making websites cross browser compatible.
- Providing accurate timing estimates on work.
