Job description
The role of a community manager is vital to a well-run social media account. As one of our community managers, you will oversee all editorial content, comments and word of mouth across each space, and often contribute to this by writing on behalf of the business/brand for their own company blog or website. A full team of content creators, account directors, managers and executives, will support this position.
Requirements
Community management
- Initiate and maintain influencer identification, relationships, engagement
- Campaign ideation, working with your team to compile campaign ideas
- Content execution: Post/publish content based on content plans
- Online reputation management
- Daily community management: proactive and reactive engagement
- Respond appropriately to user comments and queries
- Engage with stakeholders, online influencers and media
- Pre-emptively identify potential risks and crises
- Give strategic direction through community insights, idea generation and trend analysis
- Long-term planning and social ideas for achieving the business objectives of the brand
- Compiling monthly reports within the appropriate template – content strategist will provide insights
- Working with the team of content strategists to brainstorm ideas and concepts for campaigns by providing insights from the community
- Attend events for live social coverage
Advantageous
- Two years’ experience in marketing, advertising and/or digital marketing
- Interest in marketing and especially social, content and digital marketing
- Good understanding of communities and analysis of behaviour
- Ability to analyse data by providing insights
