If so, you are the designer we are looking for. Creative Caterpillar is a boutique design and brand agency based in Somerset West that specialises in corporate identity creation. We are a small team of multi-disciplinary designers that specialise in creating phenomenal brand identities and our core focus is corporate branding.
As a designer at Creative Caterpillar, you will conceptualise and create outstanding corporate designs and be responsible for the visual interpretation of design briefs, brand identities, website design, and corporate communication.
What’ll you’ll be doing:
- Creating seamless corporate identities and applying them across different platforms.
- Producing creative deliverables, both internally, and for clients.
- Working across all media platforms including print and digital.
- Interpretation and creative execution of design briefs.
- Crafting unique websites, infographics, and illustrations.
- Brainstorming, conceptualising and delivering fresh ideas and campaigns, both internally and for clients.
- Ensure consistent brand identities across all marketing material created.
- Drive constant innovation to enhance the brand identity, brand awareness and campaign effectiveness.
- Conceptualise, design, and finalise artwork for all deliverables including, but not limited to corporate branding, advertising campaign, website design, corporate stationery, brand manual and internal document design.
- Ad-hoc projects.

Requirements
- Minimum three years’ relevant industry experience in a design position.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro).
- Prepress skills as well as confidence and understanding in the digital space.
- Great conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and excellent execution.
- Exceptional creativity and innovation, enthusiastic, a good communicator and driven to achieve perfection.
- HTML and CSS knowledge and understanding and experience in digital design.
- Good knowledge of printing and printing techniques.
Advantageous
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Video and animation skills.
- Experience in a corporate environment is advantageous.
