Fields of Study Available
Murray & Roberts bursary is a step taken by the company to attract more South African students to learn degree towards a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology qualifications in the fields of Engineering, e.g. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering and Electrical Engineering, also Quantity Surveying and Building or Construction Management.
Qualifications For Bursary
There are several qualifications that all interested applicants must meet for applying Murray & Roberts bursary and those are:
- Applicants must be South African citizen or permanent resident
- Applicants must able to provide their current academic results
- Own a Grade 12 exemption Certificate with Maths and Science
- Applicants must obtain a minimum of 65% aggregate to be considered
- Ready to be full-time student towards the relevant degree mentioned above
- Accepted as student at a recognized South African university and approved by Murray and Roberts
- Black (Africans, Coloureds and Indian) will be given priorities
Murray & Roberts bursary will directly pays the university for registration, tuition and examination fees annually. The bursars will also receive prescribed books, accommodation, food and travelling allowance. Bursaries will be reviewed based on bursars’ academic performance and renewable annually. Current graduate network also available for supports to the bursars. Bursars will be interviewed after being short-listed and will be informed soon.
After graduation, successful bursars will be given opportunity for In-service training and to work for Murray & Roberts for every years they’re on sponsorship.
