The Mvula Trust is the leading NGO in the rural water supply and sanitation field in South Africa, with a solid track record, high calibre staff and a network of relationships and partnerships with the major stakeholders in the sector. The mission of the Mvula Trust is to improve the health and livelihoods of poor and disadvantaged South Africans using and maximising community-based approaches to facilitate delivery of integrated and sustainable water, sanitation and related services, while ensuring that people’s voices are heard.
Mvula is seeking to fill the following internship positions in our various offices. The potential interns must have the required qualifications as listed below:

  • Programme Administrator [x8]
    National Diploma or Degree in Administration or Project / Programme Management
  • Project Finance [x4]
    National Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Financial Management
  • Technical Project Intern [x4]
    National Diploma, B-Tech or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or related Built Environment qualification
  • Institutional Social Development [x4]
    National Diploma / Degree in Social Sciences or Community Development
Limpopo (Polokwane)
  • Project Finance [x1]
    National Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Financial Management
  • Programme Administrator [x1]
    National Diploma or Degree in Administration or Programme Management
  • Institutional Social Development [x1]
    Degree in Social Sciences or Community Development
Head Office (Midrand)
  • Finance [x1]
    National Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Financial Management
  • SCM [x1]
