Job description

Duties and/ or tasks

• Select, plan organise and control all promtional selections for stores
• Promo zones and PR
• Plan and implement annual promotional calendar
• Select products for promotions and thereby putting the company’s best foot forward
• Liaise with the merchandise director and buyers
• To obtain selection agreement
• Present final promo selection to MD and marketing
• Analyse promo data results and sharing the findings with OPS, HODS and directors
• Determine the best plan forward based on the performance analysis
• Manage your team effectively, ensuring high moral and excellent performance
• Manage all promo related administrative tasks

Requirements

• Matric
• Three years’ product buying experience
• staff management experience
• planning/product experience/quantification
• ability to plan timelines and work towards deadlines
• ensuring that a high level of accuracy is supplied both verbally and written to the Senior
• intermediate and junior staff ability t make constructive decisions

Advantageous

• Advanced excel experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving
• Decision ,making skills
