Minimum requirements:
- Expert level internet working troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
- Experience configuring, monitoring, and tuning WAN/LAN network devices to optimise network performance and assure network security.
- Demonstrated ability to configure and manage Cisco 3825, 2600, 2800 routers and 3750 switches in a 10/100/1000 multi VLAN DS3 and T-1 frame network.
- Demonstrated experience configuring VLANs and optimising a high-volume transaction WAN.
- Experience configuring Radius server for remote access.
- Participation in team to strategise and implement network upgrade from legacy network configuration.
- Network systems planning and diagramming Visio for documentation.
- Experience with IOS, Cisco configuration utilities; network monitoring software, and UNIX.
- Demonstrated experience using a protocol analyser to identify and resolve network issues and network usage trends.
- Experience with LAN hardware including patch panels, fibre optic, Cat5e and Cat 6 wiring.
- Working knowledge of extensive, complex, multi-OS LAN environments connected via WAN.
- Extensive knowledge of 6500, 4500, 3500, 2900 series Cisco switches.
- Interact with vendors for support and services.
- Implement standard IT operating procedures.
- Experience – four to seven years’ experience in networking technologies with minimum three years in above capacity in a large MNC.
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting Cisco devices (switches, routers, concentrators, load balancers and firewalls).
- Develop and document DRP for mission critical devices.
- Ability to manage large projects related to infrastructure.
- Provide consultative, proactive and/or reactive support to clients’ data centre networking accounts.
- Firewall support in management security using IPSEC.
- In-depth knowledge in configuration of VOIP, IPLC and troubleshooting any issues related to that.
- Enrich experience with wide area networks consisting of multiple remote sites across the country.
- Extensive knowledge of frame relay, EIGRP, policy based routing, BGP, VTI Tunnels, HSRP, OC-12, OC-3, DS3.
- Experience using network monitoring tools to manage WAN infrastructure including Concord, NAM Modules, Net Flow, Cisco Works, HP Open view, What’s Up Professional, or other Enterprise level monitoring tools.
- Hands on with networking devices like routers, switches, and firewall from the manufacturers like Cisco, Nortel, Lucent etc.
- Troubleshoots network performance issues.
Role responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and maintaining a top class BPO infrastructure.
- Responsible for being proactive to drive results and anticipate issues to mitigate rather than work in a reactive mode.
- Conduct regular internal checks, physical verifications and facility walks to validate implementation of systems and processes.
- Develop a strong vendor base and work towards maximising value. Also, build adequate back-ups for core deliverables to achieve a 99.9% uptime.
- Initiate regular team meetings to share relevant information, seek inputs and resolve issues among team members and for the department at large.
- Reduce wastage and bring about efficiencies within the department – work towards cost savings on a budget vs actuals of approximately 5–7%.
- Create a responsive environment within the department with the objective of being highly customer-centric and driven to meet internal deadlines _ quick TAT on 99% of pending issues.
- Responsible for coordinating client visits and handling all travel requirements along with travel team.
- Ensure safe and secure work environment.
- Senior manager/facilities nanager may be given the additional responsibility of handling logistics and/or engineering services for our client on a need basis.

- CCNA certification.
- Routing protocols such as RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Network facility management: LAN cabling, fibre termination and good knowledge on passive infrastructure.
- Familiar with MPLS technology.
- High proficiency in MS Office/Project.
- Documentation skills.
- Initiative, judgment, drive and innovation.
- Problem identification and analytical ability.

- Extensively worked in network implementation, installation, administration, troubleshooting, support, capacity planning, performance management.
