Job description
Umanix, a Claremont-based managed service provider, is looking for an experienced network/system support technician. We mainly service SME clients and manage data centre infrastructure. The individual needs to be self-motivated and able to work in a multifaceted environment.
Requirements
Minimum requirements would be:
- Strong networking skills, including but not limited to, the implementation, management, and debugging of switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Linux server administration, the ability to deploy, manage, and debug. Specifically focusing on mail, web, storage, DB, virtualisation, etc.
- Microsoft server administration, Exchange, AD, SQL, RDS, Office365, etc.
- Desktop/user support skills.
- Self-motivated, presentable with good communication skills.
- Own transport.
- Practical experience is a must.
Remuneration: Depends on the person we have various options for salary structure.
