NWU Online Application Fee 2024
DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED AND FEES PAYABLE
Kindly provide us with the following by post or submit at Building 24, G01 (all copies must be certified):
∙A certified copy of your identity document
∙A certified copy of your Grade 11 report and most recent available Grade 12 certificate
∙If you have already passed the matriculation examination, a certified copy of your matriculation certificate
∙An application fee of R150.00. This amount applies only to applications for 2024. The application fee for any other year must be cleared with the University. Late applications will only be considered on merit up to and including 30 November 2024. All fees may be paid by postal order, cheque or in person at the University. If you are already in possession of a university number, you may make a direct deposit (See banking details below).

SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION FORM |

Submission of a completed application form only serves as an application for admission to the University. |
Registration as a student takes place at a later stage, and only after the prescribed enrolment fee has been paid and an official registration form has been completed and submitted. Towards the end of the year you will receive full particulars about these arrangements.
Please note that a prospective student permanent residence permit, must obtain a

If you receive no reply to your application within four weeks, please make enquiries at the Admissions Office.
APPLICANTS FROM OTHER UNIVERSITIES AND/OR TECHNICONS
Application of undergraduates from other Universities and/or Universities of Technology and/or Teachers’ Training Colleges:
(1)We require a certificate of conduct and an academic record as issued by the Registrar of the University/Teachers’ Training College or University of Technology where you were registered
(2)Proof of payment from the previous institution
(2)A certified copy of your matriculation certificate
(3)An application for the acknowledgment of modules must be accompanied by a syllabus of the relevant course
If any of above-mentioned documents are not included with your application or is not certified correctly, it will NOT BE DEALT WITH OR EVEN CONSIDERED.
Please note that the allocation of a university number does not necessarily mean that you have been accepted.
Students who terminate their studies temporarily (for whatever reason) have to apply for re-admission.
CLOSING DATE
Applications for admission for 2024 start on 1 March 2024 and close on 30 September 2024. The University reserves the right to alter this date.
