The convention will be attended by 2 200 STTI nursing leaders from across the globe, and 300 students from the approximately 700 institutions recognized by STTI.
“It gives me a great pleasure to be granted the opportunity to attend the convention,” says Matumelo. “One of the objectives of the convention is to bring together leaders of the health care system from across the globe, and events such as this create a platform that will assist us in establishing networks and to collaborate with organisations and institutions from other countries.”
Matumelo is the national chairperson of SANSA, the provincial deputy chairperson of the Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa and a member of the Student Campus Council of the NWU’s campus in Mahikeng.
