NYDA Congratulates the 2nd South African Youth Awards (SAYA) Winners
The National Youth Development Agency wishes to congratulate all South African Youth Awards winners in the 2nd annual awards ceremony held at St George’s Hotel.
Deputy in the Presidency, Buti Manamela said The South African Youth Awards recognises and celebrates the achievement of South Africa’s most precious resource, its young people.
According to Minister Jeff Radebe, “South African Youth Awards offer us the necessary platform to cultivate the soil for the growth of our future leaders. It is our responsibility as the nation to recognize, appreciate and celebrate the accomplishments of young people. The recognition of our youth excellence is the affirmation of a brighter future
The NYDA congratulates the 2nd South African Youth Awards in the following categories:
- Academia Excellence – Mokhwetha Mabula
- Entrepreneurship – Lethabo Mokoena
- Social Cohesion/Civil Society – Gugu Nonjinge Health and Well-being (including Sport) – Matreki Mabizela
- The Environment (including Agriculture) – Ntsako Baloyi
- ‘Science, Technology and Innovation (including Medicine) – Nneile Nkholise
- Extraordinary Champions (Differently Abled Individuals) – Lebohang Monyatsi
- Arts & Entertainment (includes Music, Film, Literature and Dance) – Lucas Tshwane
- Presidential Award (Overall Winner) – Nneile Nkholise
