Job description
The Two Oceans Aquarium is looking for an online content coordinator to complement our communications and sustainability team. We are looking for someone who has excellent writing skills, has a keen interest in the environment and specifically the ocean, is eager to learn and contribute to the success of one of Cape Town’s top tourist attractions, and has a strong background in all things digital.
The position entails website and social media community management, long- and short-form copy writing, SEO work and database management. Passion, creativity, curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle broad and diverse sets of business and marketing objectives, are essential.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in marketing, English, social media, journalism or copywriting
- Two years’ experience in journalism, copywriting and/or website content development
- Experience in social media content production, community management, writing for web, content management systems, MS Office
Advantageous
- Exposure to photography and videography an advantage
