DEPARTMENT:SUPPLY CHAIN
LOCATION: CAPE TOWN
purpose of position
To collect and analyse data; monitor the Supply chain cross-functional performance and submit reports to relevant stakeholders
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESData analysis:
Collect data, analyse and measure performance on KPIs and provide feedback on various supply chain activities. Recommend and implement new measures as required
Forecasting: Forecast volumes and time lines for inflows and outflows in all areas of the Supply chain
Reporting: Coordinate and publish weekly and monthly reports. Spec, test and implement new reports based on operational need
Analytical support: Support of analysis & business cases on various supply chain activities and initiatives
Support Capital goods projects: Coordinate capital goods process to and within various African countries i.e. Supplier sourcing, supplier management, transport management & payments coordination
Track critical items: highlight and follow-up on areas of concern relating to critical areas throughout the Supply chain
Budget analysis: Scrutinize budgets and follow up on any exceptions or variances.
Country and Central office support: Support Central Office and Country teams in resolving distribution system errors etc.
SOP documentation: Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

BCom degree / other relevant qualification with Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Commercial subjects
Computer literacy: MS Office Advanced (including MS Project & Access)
Retail supply chain experience will be an advantage
