Purpose of the Job:  Reporting to the Manager in Claims Finalisation Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for efficient and effective running of the Manager’s office.
 
Key Performance Areas

  • Managing the Manager’s appointments through scheduling of appointments efficiently and effectively (electronic and manual diary).
  • Compiling and typing Executive Summaries, letters, memos, reports, minutes and other documents, as per instructions from Manager.
  • Managing all filing and correspondence.
  • Screening and answering the telephone in a polite, professional and friendly manner.
  • Ensuring that the filing system is up to date and functional at all times.
  • Booking venues (training rooms, etc) for meeting and arranging refreshments and beverages.
  • Arranging travelling (flights and car bookings), accommodation and subsistence and travelling (S&T) allowances for the Manager and staff in the department.
  • Managing and tracking office budget and variance report.
  • Ensuring that all equipment in the department is in good working condition.
  • Creating and keeping record of all purchases requisitions (internal and external), using SAP for procurement purposes.
  • Providing logistical support for department projects and events.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of all information and documents.

 
Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Matric (Grade 12)
  • Secretarial Diploma and or Diploma in Office Administration will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 2 years working experience as a secretary/ PA is a prerequisite
  • Excellent Computer Skills
  • Exceptional Communication (Written, Verbal, listening)
  • Good business acumen (resource, financial and general management)
  • Customer service orientation
  • Results / performance driven
  • Attention to detail

Remuneration
The Total cost to company of the minimum remuneration package applicable to this position is
R204 842.00 per annum and will be negotiable commensurate with experience
NB: “RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in manner that will suit their needs”.
