Job description

Calling all future digital masterminds! We are looking for a PPC intern to join our fast growing team. If you’re enthusiastic and have a passion for all things digital, this is the role for you.
There is a lot of opportunity for growth depending on how well you take to the role.
Skills that will be obtained:

  • Google AdWords  – Learn to creatively and effectively manage and optimise PPC campaigns to generate maximum ROI for our clients.
  • Perform daily and ongoing keyword and bid optimisation, landing page optimisation, analysing search query reports, and creating ad copy for larger and smaller accounts.
  • Gain knowledge of keyword analysis and conversion analysis.
  • Gain knowledge of landing page analysis.
  • Gain knowledge on negative keyword analysis.
  • Gain knowledge in setting up and managing display advertising and retargeting campaigns.
  • Learn how to analyse, recommend and implement improvements to improve ROI using paid search.

Additional skills obtainable:

  • Learn how to understand the ‘language of SEO and PPC’, e.g. organic search, PPC marketing, CTR, CPC, SEM, ROI, keyword density, long-tail keywords.
  • Understand/knowledge of SEM best practices.
  • Knowledge of doing in-depth competitor analysis.
  • Take an active role in developing digital strategies for clients that support their overall digital marketing programme.
  • Learn how to acquire unique, high converting traffic through online channels including, but not limited to – display advertising, SEM, social media, RTB, remarketing.

 

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort in manipulating large volumes of data.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and able to set and exceed aggressive work goals.

 

Advantageous

  • Google certification advantageous, but not required.
  • Social media advertising experience.
  • Google analytics experience.

 

Personal Skills/Attributes

  • Passion for digital.
  • Results driven, organised, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Can work independently on projects while communicating and collaborating with cross-departmental team and other digital specialists and managers on research, campaign creation, and optimisation efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute the delivery and manage multiple projects/campaigns in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment within budget and on time.
  • Strong analytical focus with the ability to independently implement optimisation findings and have a passion for keyword and paid search research/advertising.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity to learn and succeed.
  • Knowledge of the digital landscape, emerging technologies within a business-to-business market
