Job description
Nicky Arthur PR, an established agency in Johannesburg, is looking for a dynamic PR Account Manager. The successful applicant must be a go-getter and a goal-orientated individual who is passionate about PR and who is looking for a challenge.
If selected, you will be responsible for looking after a portfolio of PR clients as well as maintaining client-media relationships, effectively delivering successful PR campaigns. Exceptional client management and PR skills are critical to this role, as well as the ability to identify trend topics/events related to clients.
Requirements
- Sourcing and securing media interviews to promote your clients.
- Management of all media enquiries pertaining to your clients.
- Complete orchestration of group and individual press trips from the domestic and international markets for your clients.
- Admin around press trip coordination.
- Liaising with local airlines to negotiate flights for press trips.
- Coordinating media and celebrities for special events.
- Delivering a monthly PR report to clients including Newsclips services.
- Diary management including; a monthly meeting with clients and media meetings.
- Pitching of press releases to media for your clients.
- Matching relevant media with clients.
- Client liaison via email, telephonic and face-to-face.
- Full event management for your clients, including hosting where necessary.
- PR Plan development.
- Product training in international & domestic markets, via email, telephonic and face to face.
- Complete competition management for clients.
- Coordinate and attend sales pitches for new business opportunities.
- Liaising with digital team for all work on your clients (Social media and Design elements).
- Adhering to all NAPR policies and procedures.
