Job description
Overview
To check all repro artwork ensuring jobs are correct before printing.
Responsibilities
- Check all stepped lasers to customer passed proofs – manually or computer
- Check die drawings to laser
- Check UV masks/filing
- Check foil/embossing possies to proofs
- Read and check that all copy is accurate as per customers’ specifications
- Check that the job is stepped for the correct machine (grips/colour bars, paper size)
- Make one up proof mock-ups to be sent to customer
- Making plates

Requirements
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar position in a printing environment
- Excellent command of English is essential
