Job Description
The successful incumbents will be placed on a Milling Traineeship.
During this time the trainees will be required to achieve the learning milestones which lead to Wheat and Maize milling qualifications in the allocated periods.
Appointments as Shift Millers will be made on demonstration of competence and the completion of all modules with a pass mark of 80% from the South African Grain Milling Academy.
The successful incumbents must be physically fit and be willing to work in a high pressure environment as they will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of production efficiencies and targets, adherence to quality requirements, Safety and hygiene standards as well as maintenance coordination.
The position will report to the Head Miller.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must not be older than 22 years of age, and have recently acquired Grade 12 or equivalent with the following subjects and results:• At least 70-80% for Mathematics (Not Maths Literacy)
• At least 60-70% for Physical Science (Life Science an advantage)
• No experience needed
