Call for 2026 Annual Progress Reports for 2026 Funding
The 2026 Annual Progress Reports (APRs) have to be completed by grantholders funded in 2026 that require continued funding for their existing NRF-funded project in 2026.
This Call for APR applies to the following funding instrument only: Research Career Award Programme.
Reporting period : 2026
How to apply:
The 2026 APR is available on the NRF Online Submission System at https://nrfsubmission.nrf.ac.za.
Grantholders have to:
- Log in with their User Name and Password; and
- Update CV before completing the APR.
To Access the APR online
- On the left of the screen below Quick Links, click on Grantholder Tools;
- Under Grantholder select Progress Reports;
- Click on Open, next to the relevant project in order to open the applicable sections to be completed.
*The attached APR Tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how to complete the APR.
