To ensure to the achievement of the overall vision and strategic imperatives of RTT by providing sound advice on all legal, governance issues, legislative compliance and interpretation of legal decision. Reports to: Legal Manager
Business Unit RTT Group (Pty) Ltd – Johannesburg

Develop Legal Framework and Plan

• Assist with developing and implementing the Legal framework for RTT
• Define and promote legal practices within RTT
• Develop and implement legal business plan aligned to RTT business plan

Develop and Implement Legal Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Develop and implement legal policies, processes and procedures to be utilized by all RTT business units
• Monitor the application of legal norms, policies and procedures to ensure conformity and uniformity

Contract Management

• Drafting Contracts
• Review various Contracts, Request for Proposals and any other legal document
• Ensure contract management framework is implemented
• Implement quality assurance on all legal documents
• Partake in negotiations between RTT and third parties

Provide Legal Advice

• Provide advice on legal documentation affecting RTT
• Compile and present legal opinions (when requested)
• Provide legal, contractual and regulatory advice to RTT
• Provide advice on the prosecution and defence of all legal proceedings for/against RTT
• Initiate, prosecute and manage legal proceedings to protect RTT’s interests.


• Grade 12
• B Com (Law); LLB or any other tertiary legal qualification
• Admitted Attorney

Job – Related Work Experience

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a legal environment
• Knowledge of the Logistics Industry
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
• Knowledge on debt collection process
