Minimum Requirements:
- Accounting Degree
- Relevant experience in a similar environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up to date reconciled cashbooks and bank accounts
- Create bank reconciliation reports on Venus
- Follow up on long outstanding reconciliation items from sub-ordinates
- Adhere to policies and procedures
- Supervise staff and check reconciliations
- Compile monthly summaries of all bank reconciliations and submit to superiors
- Prepare year-end audit file
- Attend weekly status meeting within the Treasury Division
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual budgets and financial reports in accordance with statutory and Council presentation requirements
- Implement the governance and risk management
- Maintain customer service orientation
- Responsible for people management
