Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant experience

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise functions related to bus operations and drivers
  • Oversee and supervise matters relating to the functions and duties of the despatchers to meet demands for services
  • Oversee and handle matters relating to the functions and duties of the scheduler, compilation of time table, prepare driver’s duty sheet and shifts, liaise with the public to ensure optimal service delivery
  • Oversee the responsibility of the cleaners
  • Responsible for occupational health and safety within the section
  • Responsible for the function of determining new routes, compiling and completing of applications for operating license
  • Report any irregularities negatively affecting the bus service to the manager of the bus service
