| Job Context | SERVEST SECURITY, A DIVISION OF SERVEST HAS A VACANCY FOR AN OPERATIONS MANAGER REPORTING TO THE BRANCH MANAGER Minimum Requirements No criminal record. Grade B PSIRA registered. Firearm competent. Code 8 driver’s license. At least 3 years’ experience as a Security Operations Manager. Marine experience will be to the advantage of the applicant. Computer Literate – must be able to work on office programs; Outlook, Excel and Word. Grade 12 – Further Studies will be an advantage. Must have sound knowledge of Easy Roster. Must be conversant in English as communication language. Excellent communication skills in English – both verbal and written. Own reliable transport. Key Responsibilities Liaising and attending regular (weekly/monthly) meetings with clients and employees. Conducting daily/weekly visits to relevant sites. Liaising with the Easy Roster Clerk to ensure correct postings and reporting of discrepancies Investigation of all incidents on relevant sites Perform regular night visits on relevant sites Ensure compliance with Site Procedure Manual and facilitate optimal service delivery Submission of regular reports to the client and Servest Security management. Ensure discipline, compliance and training of security staff posted on site. Attend to and resolve grievances and disciplinary issues. |
