South African SKA Project (SKA SA) invites applicants from unemployed graduates to apply for the internships programme for the academic year 2024 in South Africa. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of during their placement. The South Africa SKA Project is recruiting bright, young and enthusiastic graduates through its Young Professionals Development Programme (YPD Programme).

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and / or Computer Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Light Current Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering and /or Radio Frequency Engineering
  • Bachelor of Mechanical / Electromechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Built Environment (Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Project Management)
  • Bachelor of Science with Mathematics and Physics as majors, or with Mathematics and Computer Science as majors
  • Bachelor of Science Honours in Astronomy / Astrophysics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or in Physics
  • Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering or Observational Radio Astronomy
