Minimum Requirements 
Qualification(s): 
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying 
or 
B Tech in Quantity Surveying 
or 
National Diploma in Quantity Surveying 
Added Advantage 
Project Management Diploma 
Related Experience: 
  
•	4 years related experience plus Bachelor’s Degree  in Quantity Surveying and Built environment or cost Engineering 
Or 
•	6 years related experience plus B Tech in Quantity surveying and Built environment or cost Engineering 
Or 
•	9 years related experience plus National Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Built environment or cost Engineering

Key Responsibilities
 Perform functions and advise on quantity surveying standard services provided throughout the project life cycle 
 Draft cost estimates for capital investment project 
 Monitor consultants, contractors and supplier performance (quantity and cost) 
 Draft, review, measure and control the effectiveness of enquiry documentation 
 Reconcile and forecast expenditure 
 Mentor and coach quantity surveying personnel 
 Comply to all Eskom and site related governance and safety, health, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ) requirements
