POSITION SYNOPSIS:

The Specialist Master Data (Finance & Human Resource) role will govern finance and human resources specific master data requests.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Serious contenders will have a relevant qualification Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Finance / Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Banking, Finance, Human Resources and / or Accounts Payable related processes;
• 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity is advantageous;
• Experience within the Finance or Human Resources function of a large Global organization is essential;
• Knowledge in cross functions within the finance, supply, production integration, work management, reporting and governance work streams is advantageous;
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint) and SAP is essential;
• Working knowledge of process improvement processes and methodology will be added advantage.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Produce, maintain and analyse relevant reports on an operational and management level;
• Develop and ensure functional Integration of the Shared Services Centre to enable the end to end process of data integration;
• Govern central Finance and Human Resources Master Data changes in accordance with agreed quality standards, ensuring Master Data Integrity;
• Validate Master Data requests to ensure all data and supporting documentation is provided and approved, and duplications are not being created;
• Liaise with the MD requestor and/or approver to clarify a MD request or follow up on a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activity where required;
• Monitor requests and tasks in the SAP notification tool.
