Sun City SUP Classic 2024

Calling all beginners and pros! Enter the Sun City SUP Classic, an exhilarating stand-up paddle-surfing event at the Valley of Waves and Waterworld. It’s three days of action-packed races that will thrill competitors and spectators alike.
Participate in this unique opportunity to surf the inland freshwater waves at the foothills of the Pilanesberg in both day and night events.
Night races take place under the floodlights at the Valley of Waves, while the four day races include the Waterworld main race, a 100m social speedster race, 200m sprint knockouts, and the round-the-island fun race.
Why not opt for the Weekend Warrior option where you can pre-book a board, and once you arrive, join a clinic for lessons from South Africa’s SUP pros? There’s no better place to learn how to SUP, so come give it a go!
And with four divisions,  the whole family can participate. The Open Division is for the experienced SUP surfer, the Legend/Diva Division for 45 years and older, Juniors for under 18 and Social for the novices.
