The Faculty of Higher Education Development and Support, Department: Student Development and Support has a three – year fixed term contract position for SDS Practitioner at the eMalahleni Campus.
INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are required to submit together with the CVs, a standardized application form available from the university intranet as well as recently certified copies of qualifications and Identity Document. Failure to comply with this instruction will disqualify the candidate. Further note that candidates may be expected to make a presentation or undergo competency testing
 
Key Performance area
Duties and Responsibilities
KPI’s Programme management and administration Research
Programme specific organization and operational planning as determined by the annual programme plans.
Execution of all programme specific plans and facilitation of service request for SDS programmes
Including Life skills and Counselling.
Participate and conduct research actions on matters of throughput, service impact and quality or any identified relevant fields for the Directorate
Approved actions plans, Monthly reports, Service delivery data, Client evaluation outcomes(part of quality assurance system
Research output and activity reports.
Accredited publication as per Institutional benchmark
Minimum requirements:
Qualification:
5 Years relevant qualification in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Social Work.
NQF Level 9 Registration as a Psychologist.
Experience:
5 Years relevant experience
