MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement, Audit, Maintain an effective Quality and consumer safety Management system-ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP
• Analyses and appraisal of raw materials quality
• Log on non-conformances and high light areas of concern
• Setting up specifications for all products and raw materials, log of all production non conformances.
• Compare month-end production waste to BOM
• Log of customer complaints and follow up’s
• Log and analysis of returns to distribution
• Ensure that test results are accurate and representative
• Prepares and implement testing procedures and ensures they meet acceptable standards
• Ensures that the testing equipment is calibrated and keep record in accordance with QMS
• Administer maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Record of daily test results to be kept on computer
• Data to be statistically analyzed

REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Matric,
• BS’c or ND Anal Chem/ Chem Eng/ Food Tech/ Micro plus TQM/BTech Quality

KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE

• Effective QMS e.g. ISO 9001:2008 knowledge and practical experience
• FMCG/converting experience
• HACCP knowledge,
• Statistical Process Control (Fully Operational),
• Six sigma (Basic Knowledge)
• Basic Quality Control Tools
