PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/SENIOR LECTURER: PLANT ANATOMY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Teach modules in Plant Anatomy at undergraduate and post-graduate level
  • To conduct, publish and promote research in Plant Anatomy
  • To develop undergraduate plant anatomy course material.
  • The candidate may also be required to teach other undergraduate course in Botany, as required by the Department.
  • Be willing to help in departmental administration

 
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • PhD in Plant Anatomy
  • At least 8 year teaching experience in Plant Anatomy and 5 years for a Senior Lecturer.
  • Excellent experience leading joint research project and
  • Well published documentation in accredited journal
  • Able to attract students for Botany field/discipline
  • Good teamwork, interpersonal and leadership skills
